Bradley's Abscam movie out on Christmas Day
David O Russell's untitled movie centered on the Abscam sting operation has received a release date.
The film, which reunites Silver Linings Playbook castmates Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper is set to be released on Christmas Day.
The feature - which still has no title at this stage - has been given a wide release by Sony.
Prior to the movie's December 25 general release in the US, the drama will open in selected cinemas in a limited release on December 13.
Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises) and Louis CK (Down to Earth) are also part of the cast.
O Russell's latest project was formerly titled American Bulls**t.
A UK release date for the movie has yet to be announced.

Bradley did 'stupid' things
Bradley Cooper used to do ''stupid'' things when he was growing up.
The 'Hangover' star got involved with a ''bad crowd'' during his teenage years in a bid to find ''self-worth''.
He explained: ''There was always this duality with me. On one hand, my father use to call me Two Shoes, because I was always the goodie-two-shoes.
''Then puberty hit and I fell in with a bad crowd and I seemed to find a sense of self-worth by hanging out with these older kids and doing whatever these older kids thought was cool. From the age of 12 I did a lot of stupid s**t.''
One of the incidents which took place was being caught drinking underage at 15, which postponed him from being able to get his driving license.
He continued: ''What a drag, man. It meant I couldn't get my driving license until I was 17 - talk about a buzzkill with the ladies.
''Imagine all your buddies are driving around, picking up their women, and there's little old me having to wait for a lift from my mom. Or saying to some girl, 'Hey, you want to get a train ride? It's romantic!' ''
Despite his run in with the law, Bradley, 38, continued drinking heavily until 2009 until he realised his life was getting out of control and he didn't want to let down his parents.
He told Britain's GQ magazine: ''My life was going in one direction and that terrified me. It scared the s**t out of me. I knew I had to make some changes if I ever wanted to fulfil whatever potential I had as a human being.
''I felt a huge sense of responsibility to my parents, especially to my father. When I took out a loan to go to grad school to act I could see that deep down he was f***ing terrified. He didn't think I had it in me.''

Jennifer Lawrence: Bradley is a very good dancer
Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that Bradley Cooper didn't have to do much practising for their dance scene in Silver Linings Playbook.
The pair perform a sexy dance in the movie and Jen says Brad, 38, was a natural mover - but that she was the exact opposite.
‘He's very good,' says Jen, 22.
‘He moves very smoothly. I felt bad for him, because he's such a good dancer and I'm so bad.
‘We rehearsed two hours a day and he didn't have to do much, but I was in need of the extra sessions so I could look less like a malfunctioning robot.'
Bradley - who says he ‘would do every movie' with Jen if he could - agrees that the Oscar-winning actress put lots of work into perfecting the routine.
‘We were rehearsing every day between shooting and Jen worked hard,' Bradley tells Celebs On Sunday.
‘It was all choreographed. The whole idea is the dance is a reflection of their personalities.'

Bradley covers GQ

Bradley thought he wasn't right for The Hangover
Bradley Cooper didn't think he was ''The Guy'' for 'The Hangover'.
The heartthrob actor was convinced the he wouldn't make the final cut for the comedy film when he first went to audition for director Todd Phillips as he believed hiring unknowns for the project was too risky at the time.
He explained: ''I think my agent had to strong-arm Todd into seeing me that day. Todd and I hit it off in the room, but I could see that I wasn't 'The Guy'. You know? They had very specific actors who they wanted to do the movie with - those actors weren't uninterested.
''And they were unknowns. And when a studio is giving you $15m to make a movie and you want to use three unknowns? No way. So then it just went away. I forgot about it.
''I went up to Williamstown to do a play, 'The Understudy', thinking at least it would help fulfill me creatively, but I had no real idea where my next pay cheque was coming from. Then I got this email from Todd. It was 2pm and we were just doing the matinee performance and then 'ping' ... 'Come on b****es.' ''
Although Bradley's high-profile friends were confused as to why he took on the part, the 38-year-old star was keen to participate and feels ''honoured'' have become successful in the showbiz industry.
He added: ''I rang him and was like, 'Todd what are you talking about?' He said, 'It's on. 'The Hangover'. We're going to do it.'
''Back then, I had a couple of high-profile actor friends who were pretty successful and they were saying, 'Why are you doing that movie called 'The Hangover'? I read the script and passed.' And I'm like, 'Oh, OK. Well, I'm doing it.'
''Actors are a crazy breed. I feel honoured to be a part of this profession, but I also feel a lot of gratitude that I am not a typical actor. Not at all.''

Bradley & Hangover 3 Pals Get Wild During Wolfpack Photo Shoot
No matter how long it's been since the Wolfpack's last adventure, it's always a time when the boys get together.
The Hangover Part III stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms reunited today in Los Angeles for a photo shoot with director Todd Phililps—and, as always, boys will be boys.
Not only is Phil apparently taking style advice from Alan these days, with Cooper's hair starting to look remarkably Galifianakian (and the beard is getting there), but he just couldn't stop himself from reaching out for a squeeze as his cuddly costar darted away.
Helms and Phillips could only look on and laugh. Wouldn't you?
The poster promises one final face-off between Alan and Ken Jeong's Mr. Chow—who apparently didn't stay locked up in Bangkok for long—before "it all ends" on May 24.

Casting for Bradley's new Movie
Atlas Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures are set to begin shooting a major feature film in Boston, MA and New York City for Columbia Pictures. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are casting the film’s supporting roles. Smaller speaking roles are being cast in Boston and New York, where shooting will take place from March 18, 2013 through May 19, 2013. The project is currently using the working title of “Untitled David O. Russell/Abscam Project”. Extras will be cast throughout production. Bradley Cooper: Gosling is 'sexy as hell'
Bradley Cooper thinks Ryan Gosling is 'sexy as hell' in 'The Place Beyond The Pines'.
The 38-year-old actor stars alongside the 'Drive' hunk in the upcoming crime thriller film and Bradley felt 'honoured' to have worked with him.
But he wasn't happy that his character has to shoot Ryan's alter-ego because he knows the scenes will lose him fans.
Praising his co-star's sex appeal, he explained: 'Who would ever want to be in a movie where you're the guy that kills Ryan Gosling. Ryan Gosling looks sexy as hell in this movie, too. He's all muscled out, tattooed up; a super-cool outlaw bank robber who gets to hold a baby for most of the movie.
'And me - my character, this cop who lies and rats on his buddies - is supposed to turn up 45 minutes into the movie and kill Ryan Gosling? I love Ryan. Honour to work with him. He's one of our greatest actors. Nice guy, too.'
Bradley initially wasn't sure if the role of Avery Cross was right for him but he eventually talked himself into taking the part because he realises he needs to widen his filmography.
In an interview with the new UK issue of GQ magazine, he explained: 'I had reservations about killing that character. But then I thought this is a prime example of the type of role I should preach to myself that I should take. I mean, do I really walk the walk?'
