Cameron Crowe Starts Hawaii Film With Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone

Cameron Crowe has quietly begun rolling cameras in Hawaii on a now-untitled romantic comedy, starring Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone and Danny McBride. Rather than an official “start of production” news release, Crowe simply posted a photo of a clapboard on his official site The Uncool with the following missive:

“The Untitled Hawaii project is officially underway. As you can see above, the production began filming on September 26th with Eric Gautier (“Motorcycle Diaries,” “Into the Wild”) as Cinematographer. Stay tuned as we begin to share images and much more from the set very soon. Mahalo!”
Crowe will direct “Untitled Hawaii” from his own screeplay and produce via his Vinyl Films banner with Scott Rudin.

The film, formerly called “Deep Tiki” and “Volcano Romance,” centers on the romance between a military contractor overseeing a satellite launch and an Air Force officer.

‘Limitless’ Being Adapted for Television with Bradley as Producer

“Limitless” is set to receive the smallscreen treatment.

Relativity Television has partnered with Bradley Cooper and Georgeville TV to adapt the 2011 pic for television, it was announced at Mipcom over the weekend.

Cooper, who starred in the film, will serve as exec producer. Leslie Dixon and Scott Kroopf will co-exec produce the series. Relativity produced the feature film, so having the studio’s TV division — Relativity TV — produce the smallscreen version is an organic segue for the property.

“‘Limitless’ is the perfect example of Relativity’s multiplatform approach to creating quality content,” said Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. “The story will transition perfectly to television, and we’re excited to partner with such a talented actor and producer as Bradley Cooper on the series.”

Bradley wants mother to be his Oscars date

Bradley Cooper wants his mother to be his Oscars date every year.

The 38-year-old actor took his mum Gloria to the Academy Awards this year and he had such a great time with her he intends to invite her again.

Speaking to Vanity Fair Spain magazine, he said: ''Of course she's the person I will go with. Well, first I should ask her. Maybe she won't feel like it.''

Bradley's mother had a wonderful time at the glitzy event in Los Angeles, and she got to hang out with numerous A-list stars including George Clooney and Bradley's 'Silver Linings Playbook' co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

Speaking about Gloria's Oscars experience, he recalled: ''You can't imagine how cool it was! I introduced her to people like George Clooney and she greeted them saying, 'Hey man, what's up?' It was great. She is always the same regardless of the place she is ... It was incredible. Everyone was there - Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Day-Lewis, Quentin Tarantino ... It was like heaven.''

Bradley has been living with Gloria since his father Charles died in 2011 from cancer aged 71.

'The Hangover Part III' star made a promise to his mother that he would take her to the Oscars if he was ever nominated for an award, so he knew who his plus one was going to be when he got the nod in the Best Actor category at the 2013 ceremony for his performance in 'Silver Linings Playbook'.

He lost out on the statuette to Daniel Day-Lewis.
