Movie crews get ready to film Bradley's new movie The Place Beyond The Pines in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Pre-production crews for "The Place Beyond the Pines" staring Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling started setting up for filming in Schenectady on Monday.
Schenectady Film Commissioner Don Rittner said there will be about 50 locals in the movie that auditioned for extra roles during a casting call on June 5th and 6th.
Rittner says filming will take place at local banks, Woodlawn Preserve, Albany Pine Bush Preserve, and various Schenectady homes. They started setting the scene on Monday.
He says not much police involvement will be necessary, if anything the streets they are filming on will be shut down.
The movie is about a professional motorcycle rider who robs banks to support his son. Gosling is playing the motorcycle rider and Cooper will play a cop who tries to capture the biker.
A recent addition to the cast list is Eva Mendes.
Full-time filming will start sometime in July and will wrap up by September
